RE: Who Makes the Best ATV and who makes the WORST

Who makes the best ATV and who makes the worst?
Well, as you can by my user name I favor the Can-Am. I currently have a 2008 650 XT and the onyl problem I have had with it is Warn winch. I trail ride and use it in the winter to plow, which this winter we had over 150 inches, the machine worked mint. The machine will haul anything that I want it to. The Can-Am has plenty of power and great handling. In the year that I have had the Can-Am I have put on 650 miles. Plus, the Can-Am came with a 3 year warranty.
A friend has a Can Am 800 XT, which he ended up blowing the motor in. They backed it up with a new replacement motor. This rider typically puts 1000 miles plus on it in a year, but says that if honda comes out with a 800 machine, he will go back to Honda.
My wife has a 2008 Honda Rincon GPScape, which we had some minor problems with. For example, the spark plug has had to be replaced and for some reason for the battery as a tendency to die. However I can say that the Honda has been flipped over down a 30 ft embankment and the real damage was where a tab broke through the fairing and messing up the aligment(which has been fixed). The Honda doesn't feel like it has the stability of the Can-Am nor the take off speed, probably because of the shaft drive. Wife thinks the machine is awesome however, so whatever makes her happy, right?:B
A lot of friends have Polaris machines and don't have many problems with them.
Artic Cat and Yamaha don't sell too many machines in my area.
In conclusion, whatever machine a person decides to purchase, they probably be happy to get out and enjoy nature.
happy trails
